I never turn off my computer and I have trouble closing tabs. Here’s what has been open in my browser window for most of this week.
Sarahillenberger / neon1 – I really like the use of the studio still life as an infographic. So many other inspiring works in her portfolio
Brag Magazine - New quarterly magazine targeted at design students
Wierd Records / New Releases - These guys were on Minimal Electronik Plus last Sunday so I decided to investigate more.
Freshbooks - Try as I may, I can’t keep up with paperwork and regular work with my old ways. Last night I purchased a year of Freshbooks so I can streamline things and hopefully save a lot of time.
Stupidtelligent / Freehand Cooking - I was looking at this guy’s portfolio but then I looked at his blog and it showed how to put an egg in a piece of toast. Why didn’t I think of that?
maisonmartinmargiela - Okay, first I thought they were serious then I thought they were brilliant. Then a bunch of errors showed up in Firefox and I thought they were serious again.
noreaction / vaugeminimal1 - I found the no reaction site last night and planned on playing out all of the brilliant mixes they have available. Solid Gold.
noreaction / minimal wave category - While they have a bunch of italo and bit, I’m enjoying the minimal wave the most.

I never turn off my computer and I have trouble closing tabs. Here’s what has been open in my browser window for most of this week.
NYTimes Article Skimmer - Still have this open.
Helen Friel - Impressive papercuts
Heydays - The best is when a portfolio shows the work as large as possible, assuming the work is really slick like Heydays.
Nathan Nedorostek/kewltype - Some fun work to flip through
Gunter Rambow - I’m not really into the site design at all, but it’s kind of nice to open the image pop up and just click the arrows to navigate through all of the amazing work.
Helmo - This project is nice
Figure-Studio - One of my favorite portfolios
Grain Edit / Andy J Miller - More fun
T Magazine / Gipe - Good idea poor execution. My girlfriend sent me this article written by one of her editors at I.D.
Twitter - Still open
ThÉo GÈnnitsakis - This stuff reminds me of Airbrush Action magazine that I always read growing up
Airbrush Action Magazine - I can’t believe it’s still around
Stil in Berlin - Some fashion blog I have never seen before.

I never turn off my computer and I have trouble closing tabs. Here’s what has been open in my browser window for most of this week.
Task Newsletter image - I’m really in to this typeface.
NYmag/The Better Brown Bag - To inspire myself to bring my lunch to work more often
Museum Studio/Breakfast Arrangements - Another tab full of food
Jonathan Puckley - Does some amazing things with Scriptographer. Most recently his Delaunay Raster images that are all over the internet right now. I want that script so badly.
Wikipedia/Delaunay Triangulation - More information about delaunay triangulation
Twitter - I have had twitter for a couple years now but I think this is the first week that I actually have kept up with the feed and used it. I feel like most of the people I know use it now so that makes it fun. Not to mention the hilarious people I don’t know.
The Strange Attractor - When it comes to reading design blogs I do it all through Google Reader. This is one I just found out about and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth adding to the mix.
Ted/Dan Dennet - This person started following me on twitter and I clicked their website to see what they were about. Haven’t watched it yet.
Twitter - Sometimes when I can’t find the twitter tab it’s easier just to create a new one.
Daily Record/Socks1 - This hilarious image of photojournalists.
Gregoire Alexandre - Such an incredible body of work
Behance/Kris Sowersby - Nice type!
Darden Studio/Jubilat - More nice type!
Evening Tweed - Very inspiring design collective - a lot of great work to dig through
Vimeo/Chair Arch by The Glue Society - Making the ordinary extraordinary
Student Loans - Just chipping away at my student loans.
NY Times Article Skimmer - NYTimes.com is a beautiful site but I have always felt that the website could work and look a lot differently then the print edition. I’m really excited to see this prototype. Such a simple and effective solution to reading news online.
Flickr/Acejet170 - Look at those stamps!
Play Prime - Like an animated Eboy. I like how eboy has been doing this stuff for so many years and now I see this site and the new comcast commercial pop up.
YouTube/Bone Thugs and Harmony - Song’s about waking up alway get me. Especially waking to all your homies in a castle , sitting in front of a crystal ball then getting a ride to the huge party/bbq on the hood of a car. That’s how I want to start my month.

I never turn off my computer and I have trouble closing tabs. Here’s what has been open in my browser window for most of this week.
Think Simple Act Simple/window stickers nice.
HistoFace - Make a cryptic message through the Photoshop Histogram window.
Neon Gray/Friends – Neon Gray has great work and friends.
The Small Stakes/About – My thought on how to view a portfolio: Don’t forget the about section.
Sweet Marias home made coffee roaster documentation - I plan on roasting my own coffee at some point this year.
Ebay results for Galloping Gourmet
Coffee Geek - information on making a “Turbo Crazy” roaster
More Turbo Crazy information
Minimal Wave/links - Some of the best blogs for when I’ve played out this weeks Minimal Wave show.
Hanna Terese Nilsson - These drawings have an honesty I’m trying to get back with.
John Maus/discography - I really can’t get enough of his music right now. Just picked up Songs and Love is Real albums.
Come de Bouchony/links Been steadily working my way through these.
Paul Anthony Malcom Simple and effective work. Lately I have been struggling with flat conceptual imagery vs curiosities with dimension.
Huffington Post - Where is Our Orchestra My girlfriend sent me this link. Incredible video and article.
Zammit - I can’t even read any of this, but it’s open.
Din Next I’m really excited about this font release by Akira Kobayashi
Din Next search - So excited that I googled Din Next to see if anyone else is.
Blame it on Disco - A song that I listened to - then it stopped - then I forgot about it.
Refinery29 Twitter feed Designing something for their home page.
Death Wears White Socks/Strawberry Switchblade Their name and music is pretty good and music is available to download. Ha, two year old post about music from 1985.
Daily Press - Cat in Couch Still open. Is this even news worthy?
Layer Tennis - I love/hate Layer Tennis but I always end up seeing at least the first couple frames because someone links it. For one, I think that this execution is totally static and I either loose interest or just can’t wait for the next round and forget about it. When someone uses flash and you can interact is the only time it works. I’m totally intrigued by the idea though and I think technology will make this right. Something like the Uniqlo Grid that allows live action up to the second collaboration battles.
Feel free to recreate my browsing pattern in your own window.

I really like simple slightly techy projects like this one. He turns on the camera’s two second timer and runs for it.
